How it works

Sourcing property in Lagos is not the same as browsing listings. The work that protects you happens before you ever sign anything, so this is the order we do it in.

   Tell us what you're looking for

   A short conversation about budget, area and what the property is actually for, whether that is somewhere to live, somewhere to let, or somewhere to hold. We would rather ask too many questions now than show you the wrong thing later.

2. 02

   We source the shortlist

   We work our network across Lagos Island and come back with properties that fit the brief. A good portion of what we find is never advertised publicly, which is usually where the better value sits.

3. 03

   Viewings, in person or on video

   You see everything before you commit. Clients abroad get a walkthrough video and a candid read on the property and the street it sits on, not just the photographs an agent chose.

4. 04

   Due diligence before you commit

   Ownership, documentation and valuation are checked while you still have the option to walk away. If something does not hold up, we say so and we move on to the next one.

5. 05

   Negotiation and paperwork

   We negotiate the terms and run the paperwork through to signing, keeping you clear on what is owed, to whom, and when. No surprise line items at the end.

6. 06

   Handover

   Keys in hand. If the property is an investment rather than a home, we can take it straight into short stay management through JO Short Stay.
