This policy applies to visitors and clients of jo-properties.vercel.app, operated by JO Properties, a property sourcing business based in Lagos, Nigeria. It explains what information we collect through this site and what we do with it.
What we collect
If you submit the enquiry form on this site, we collect the name, email address, phone number and message you provide, along with which listing you enquired about, if any. We only ask for what's needed to follow up on your enquiry — an email or a phone number is required so we can reach you; everything else is optional.
If you contact us through WhatsApp instead, that conversation happens on WhatsApp's platform and is covered by WhatsApp's own privacy policy, not this one.
We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers on this site at this time. If that changes, we'll update this policy first.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used only to respond to you — to follow up about a property, answer a question, or arrange a viewing. We don't add you to a marketing list, and we don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
Who we share it with
Enquiry form submissions are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a third-party form-processing service that transmits the message by email — it does not use your data for its own purposes. This site is hosted on Vercel, which processes standard technical request data (like IP address) as part of serving the site, in line with Vercel's privacy policy.
We don't share your information with any other third party except where required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as reasonably useful to the relationship — typically for the duration of an active search or transaction, and a reasonable period afterward. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, you can ask us to confirm what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. To make a request, email us at Thejoproperties@gmail.com.
Children
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
